It has the maps loaded, auto routes (or can download routes from a PC), has both XM radio and moving NEXRAD radar.
I ride a lot during tornado season and the radar has kept me out of trouble more then once (one close encounter with a really bad storm just west of San Antonio convinced me to keep the thing). They are not considered inexpensive and the XM subscriptions add to the cost.
Hope that helps!

The Zumo 550 is a great unit & does what I need, but there are two later generation Zumo units out. The 660 & 665. Both offer features different than the 550, but only you can decide which features you want or will use.
The 550 price is dropping & you could probably pick up a used one from someone upgrading to a 660 or 665. Any unit you choose should allow you some method of hearing the commands, & one that speaks the street name is a big plus. Whatever you decide on keep in mind that Garmin maps & customer support are the best you can ask for.

I have a 450 and it works very good. The guy thats riding with me has a Nuvi 760. So far it has proven to be a pita, can't see the screen and it actually routes a little different than mine. I could have got the 550 when I bought mine and now wish I had. If I were you I would get the 660 from Amazon.com and not worry about weather you got the right one or not.
