Nope, same place as the PCV on top the ECU under the right side-cover. I've had both on my '07 SG, which should be the same configuration as your '06. Both are very simple plug-and-play, and if you buy from Fuel Moto you won't need a dyno tune for most applications.

The PC V for Softails come with a new plate/dish to install the PC V into.....so you do have to remove it in those instances.

i had the same problem with installing the Fuel Moto controller on my 2005 EGS except that both bolts spun. The printed instruction tell you to remove the ECU. I just put the long wire ties behind the ECU and strapped down the new controller.

In the event that you do eventually have to pull the ECM for some reason, I think you'll need to pull it while it's still on the plastic ECM caddy and then probably replace the caddy itself.
