Can't speak to the heritage bars but the +2 sweepers worked out well for me. The angle of the handgrips is very comfortable.

and no, no cable or wire changes was necessary however I'm not happy with my re-routed clutch cable so adding a +4 inch cable to route back through the forks.

otherwise it works fine.

Do a search. a bunch of people commented on the heritage vs. Khromewerks and others.

Very happy with my +2 Sweepers..
I tried a set of heritage bars when I was installing the Sweepers, I liked the look and feel of the +2 Sweepers better... they are close..

I'm 5'7" also.
had no problem re-routing the clutch cable.

There is quite a bit of difference. I troied Heritage bars, not enough reach. I am 6'2" and have a 37 inch sleeve. At 5'7" the Heritage bars may be just the thing for you. I now have the KW+2s, excellent for me.
