1100 miles in 3 days on mine. Was kind of afraid when I left that I'd have a bruised tailbone. It really warmed up on the way home and I could tell it was breaking in. Fits like a glove now and I really like it. It IS hard. But no but burn and no complaints here. Aside from the fact that you can't get a backrest for it.
Springerfan, sweet ride! I am looking to get the Brawler for my 2008 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide and was wanting to get your thoughts on the ride and ask if the seat makes you feel more in control, less or about the same as the stock seat? I have removed my Tour Pak and still getting use to the Top Heavy feel so that is teh reason for the question.
Thanks. The position the Brawler is perfect for control but I am 6'4". It puts me in a very comfortable position but I only use it for shorter around town riding. I have a bad back and for long rides it just doesn't work well with limited padding and no lower back support. I use a Tallboy for long rides, one of the ugliest seats made but it's comfortable. I think the Brawler is a great looking seat but I wouldn't recommend it as a primary seat if you do distance riding.

6'4" and did over 600 kms (375 miles) one day on a 2009 RK. The Brawler left me with 'numb bum'. I could easily go twice the distance on my Tallboy but, as Springerfan said, the Tallboy is as ugly as sin. The Brawler is my everyday seat. Tallboy goes on for extended rides & vacation.
I like the look of the brawler and sounds good that it sits you lower and further back. Are they easy to fit and is the hole already drilled into the rear guard?
