The kill switch wire can easily get pinched while tightening the clamp on the right side handlebars controls. Loosen the clamp and try to start it.

tried that.....

Checked all my connections, checked the fuses, made sure the battery is charged....

For some reason the Run/Kill switch wont work and wont engage the fuel pump?

Im supposed to leave for a 5 day ride tomorrow morning!...

That sounds like my luck. I have an alarm. With kill switch off my red key light comes on but then goes of after a couple seconds. The fuel pump does not come on in off position. If all you did was swap bars it has to be in kill switch connection. I'd take the switch housing off again & start there.

Did you lengthen wires. Remove any fron the connectors? Need to know more about what you did to try to help fix the problem!

did not lengthen any wires only changed the clutch cable. I unplugged the wires and plugged them back in but that was it.

I have a friend at the dealer who gave me advice on several things to check and they were all good. Everybody agrees its in the kill switch but I can figure it out. I even peeled back some of the wire cover to see if i pinched it on the bars by mistake.

Looks like Im driving the car to Laughlin instead of the bike.....

+1 on kill switch trouble. But double check molex connections again. From your kill switch, you got a gray, wht/blk, and blk/red. gray goes back to ign fuse. wht/blk goes back to ecm(eng stop switch) blk/red goes back to start relay. That could be trbl at connectors.

I'd say a pinched wire in the handle bar controls, not hard to pinch one if not careful

Pinched wire makes the most sense to me.

I didnt disconnect any of the molex connectors but i made sure they were all pushed in just in case.

Well Im pretty frustrated after tearing it down again and not finding the problem I think Im ready to give up now. Will tackle it again when I get back or if I have to take it to the dealer.

Thanks for your time guys i will let you know what it ends up being.

PINCHED WIRE !!!

I had the same problem, wire had been flattened and was hard to spot untill I checked each and every wire and found where it had been flattened and apparently broken inside the plastic wire covering.
