I have a HD half helmet with no visor. But.......I'm looking for a new 1/2 helmet and thinking about the Scorpion EXO-100 with the flip down sun visor.
Got a flat black HD half helmet with no visor... Love it..
I hate shopping for helmets cause I have such a big head and the newer styles just don't look right on me.
I own a half helmet with a visor, and a full-face modular (flip-up) helmet. I prefer to wear the half helmet because it is more comfortable. However, I was wondering if there have been any studies that show that there is statistically less head injuries with a full face helmet as opposed to a half helmet. I realize that a full face helmet is safer and more protective than a half helmet; however, in terms of the number of motorcycle accidents per year, is there any data that indicates that there are actually fewer injuries with those wearing a full face helmet as compared to those wearing half helmets. Anyone know of a link to any articles discussing such studies?
