Just a suggestion...I have been running a 9.5 clearview and decided to order the new 10" Ultra longride shield...Got it in 2 days and it has more of a curved lip at the top...Like the looks...Quality..Can't beat the service.
I haven't had a chance to ride with it on yet. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm about 5'-10" and use an 8" shield. I do get hit by bugs occasionally but for the most part, the wind seems to go just over my head. I'm going to try out a 9" shield to see if there's any difference.

I just ordered a Long Ride Shield last Friday and got it last night. I got the light gray 9" standard "flip" shield and it replaced the stock 12 or 12.5", whatever it was. I was a little concerned about wind hitting me in the face because I am looking over it, but I rode this morning with no eye protection, just my glasses, and got no wind at all, even at 75. I got a little on the sides of my face, but not much. I am 6'2" on an '07 Ultra with the stock seat.

The shield seems to be good quality and I like the look. Time will tell how it holds up, but from other posts, it looks to be better quality than the stocker. I didn't get my $10 off as promised by the ad on the site, but I'll take that up with the company, should be no problem, they look like they are pretty responsive to people's needs/concerns.

Can't really help you with the height as I'm 6'2". I've got the 9.5" Clearview with recurve in light gray and it works for me. Could have gone taller I think and still looked over it but I like the look of this one.

As for the "Blem" windshield, don't think twice about getting one. As others have said you'd be hard pressed to find the blem. I've yet to find one on mine. The first time it gets hit by a pepple it will do more harm that the blem it came with.

It's very easy to cut down the windshield you already have with a jig saw. Here's a link, very easy to do.
