So there I am again

Update
I did take the lamp apart yesterday night. The bulb was broken (exploded?), I dont know if that happened when I took the thing out, but I doubt. There was this white to tan to lightly yellow "dust" inside the lamp. I tried to clean it with qtips, toothbrush and other nasty tools. Some of it came off easily like fog, but other spots were more like glue residue. Strange. There are also two spots where it looked like burnmarks, on the glass (Plastic) and on the shiny crome-like material.. The marks on the crome stay pretty much beamless, even after lots of efforts to clean them. The whitish marks on the glass, well I scratched them off... Any ideas? Hopefully just a bad lamp, and hopefully the last time. Do you think it could be related to a wiring problem? I had this bulb in for less than 300 miles.
