Smile Today was the day

Took into consideration all the great input from members on my dillema between a 08 Anniversary Ultra and a stock black 09. The 08 just felt better to me, plus did a little better on price and was a change from Black ( my previous Ultra ) So bought the 08 today and pick it up tomorow. Now the fun and expence begins. Thanks Rallyrat

Welcome to the Duracell club. You'll love it even more when you take those 402's off and put E3's on. Great riding bike, even better with E3's.

I'm due for tires soon. I've read in several posts that E3's are great. I always assumed Dyna's, V-Rods, Bob's. But I see you have an Ultra, mine is coppertop too. So really like the E3's and recommend them?

I'm going to see if my dealer get some or even has them.

Thanks

Just what I did too my 233 mile '08 Ultra last week. Jake Wilson $177 to the door and sold the old ones to a friend for $100.

Congrats on the '08, I bought ours a couple of weeks back and faced the same decision, a super low mile '08 with ABS, sec. etc and in the color combo I wanted or a financed '09 (was able to pay cash for the '08) or used '09 with some miles.

So far besides the E3's I have added a SG windshield copy off Ebay and a pair of rubber antenna's. Soon I will be getting in touch with Fuelmoto for slip-on's a tune and ac.

I would buy them online from Jakewilson.com Great customer service. Check some other post here for a coupon code to get an extra 20.00 off. I paid 196.00 delivered the next day. Put mine on myself. Not very hard to do with right tools. Plenty of indy's that will install cheaper than Dealer. I also used Dynabeads for balancing. Smoothest ride yet!!!

Yes, I don't think you can buy a better tire. The E3's have higher load rating than 402's they track better over tar snakes. Handle great in the mtn's where I spend about 90 percent of my riding.
