Default intsalling tour pack on a cop eglide w/corbin dual touring seat.

I have an 01 electraglide police edition. My step mom gave me her tour pack. What should I do to overcome the clearance issues with the cop saddle bags? I was also told the the Corbin dual touring seat would not fit with a tour pack Installed. Has anyone had this issue? All help would be greatly appreciated.

the tour pak has to be raised 1" to allow the bag lids to open without hitting the tour pak, I used a extra rack tube and the spacers to get mine to clear

Check Corbin's website for the seat/tour pak fitment issue. The only issue I recall is with the use of HD's detachable tour pak racks which wouldn't apply in your case.

As for mounting the tour pak, it does need to be raised about 1". I used hard rubber automotive bushings sandwiched between thin stainless steel 1/4" washers in approximately the same diameter as the bushings.

Good luck with your project.

I think you should give it to me. Just think of the good will and all the money you'll save by not having to install it on your ride.

My step mom doesn't know what she gave away. I want to get it painted and mounted before she wants it back.

Only problem to that is the lock assy is not the same as on the regular tour pak. it is styled after the old flat key.

Ok. I found my issue about this corbin dual touring seat. I realized i have a road king seat. I dont know if i will have to use the big *** pillow couch seat that comes standard on the electra glides. I hate that seat.
