Default Question about Rinehart true duals tips

I've seen the round tips for the Rinehart true duals in Black and the ones in chrome, but did they make them in a cone shape as well?

Thanks for the help

Nope. The cones are reversed. The small diameter end of the cone is toward the back

If so, how did the modification effect the sound?

Yeah i turned them and installed them on my dads bike. Didnt affect the sound as the inside of the tip was untouched.

I think those are an older SE muffler on a true dual head pipe. The front of the muffler body looks like Stock/SE not Rinehart.

I could turn a set to have that stubby taper.

This is my new bike and I want Rineharts on it. Just trying to figure out if I'm gonna have to buy new pipes or not. I like the chrome Rineharts with the black anodized tips. I wonder if I can just get some black anodized tips for these? These cone things look like crap to me

Pull one of the mufflers off the head pipe and measure the head pipe, OD will be either 1 3/4" or 2". Just order Rinehart slip ons for your head pipe size if that is what you want! No need to replace the whole system since you already have true dual head pipes.
