Ultra tour pak-quick detach kit
Hello, I know I've seen a post or two on this subject. I ride a 2010 ultra Limited and I would like some advice on a painless way to make the tour pak a quick detach. Any help out there would be greatly appreciated. I think I might want a different seat also, the stock one would not look right?? Thank you and ride safe.

I have the 08 detach kit and LOVE it, just ordered a '10 Limited and the detach kit was the first thing I added. I know it is dear but worth every penny really. I run a CVO Street Glide 08 seat when the pak is not on and I think it looks the biz. I wouldn't consider trying to cut the corner to save some money, I would rather wait and be patient

The best thing about a Detachable Kit on the new frame is it just blends with the rear fender when the Tour Pak is removed. You have the benefit of a Tour Pak when you what and can take it off to go around town. It changes the way the bike feels when it is removed.
I have the removable kit on my Road Glide. I also have the CB and radio. I put the antennas inside the fairing. It makes the removable Tour Pak so much easier.
Notice that there is not any antenna. But the Antenna Relocation Mount is still present. I moved them inside the fairing.
Now one without the Tour Pak.

Here is how it looks with the Removable Tour Pak.
