Default 08 vs 09 Ultra ??? Can't Decide

First off am new hear, found this forum and seems to have a lot of good info. long time rider but have been out for the last 15 years and am not up to date with all the current changes. Last ride was a 93 Ultra. Feel its time to re join the ranks and I am looking at a few Ultras, 08 Anniversary 9000 miles, 08 Two Tone White & Black no abs 2500 miles and a 09 solid black no abs 9000 miles. All basicaly stock and are close to the same price, about 500 to 1000 diff.. ( way to much here in Canada 23 area, but what can you do ) Swaying towards the 08s only because my 93 was black and was hoping for a change from the Black (looks great clean, but). Any opinions as to why one would be the better choice, other than one is a year newer. All inputs would be appreciated.
Thanks Rallyrat

My opinion, but since they're all close in price, I would opt for the '09. The new frame/suspension + wider rear tire make the bike much more solid and stable feeling. The ride is better on the '09 and newer bikes (IMO) and you'll really appreciate the being able to dive into a curve and just go through the curve with all the stability in the world!

The '09 and newer bikes are a bit heavier due to the new frame, but worthwhile tradeoff IMO

I got an '09 FLHTP, solid black with 1850 miles on the clock. Traded an '02
FLHT, that was a great bike, but the new frame and mo' motor (103 in the police model) on this '09 make it way fine!!!

One thing that is always the Major fact. A 2009 model is one year newer than a 2008.

I had many offers by dealers to buy a 2008 when I was replacing my Ultra that was totaled. I went for a 2009 mainly because of the new frame. Plus the new rear end does not have the stabilizer bar across the rear fender. This cleans up the rear end. If you add a removable Tour Pak to the bike, the Detachable Mounts disappear on the fender when the Tour Pak is removed it makes the look so clean.

The upgrades for '09 were substantial. Gear ratio changed making 6th gear better at highway speed limits.
If your short the '08 may fit you better because the seat on the 09 is wider.
