Lidgear Lid Organizers Just Purchased
#12
I have those they work great. Harley has something similar to replace the tethers.
I also have the lid organizers. Agreed, the tape sucks. Even the 3M I remounted them with.
The only thing I have in those is my tire gauge, air pump and a light, wind up LED flashlight. These won't fit in teh lid organizers.

I have the lidgear in my saddlebags and the HD air pump fits perfectly in one side

Installed Today
Well I got the organizers and pouches installed today in the 41 deg weather here in Ohio.
Tools I needed for install were a T-15 torx, T-25 torx for removing the factory teather screws. You will then need the T-25 torx and a 3/32" allen for installing the new supplied screws.
Install was a breeze. The supplied allen head screws felt like they were crossed threaded during install. But I noticed that they felt that way from the factory blue loctite.
Right now I do not see any weight issues with the tools in the tool organizer.
I opted on placing the lid organizer on the left side since I am usually accessing that bag the most being on the left side of the bike. This is also the bag where I found left over change, gum, safety pins and flash light in.
Hope this helps everyone out with making a choice in buying these or not. I have no affiliation with the manufacturer on these.

I got mine in and installed them over the weekend too. Great product and they look just like the pictures above, except I don't have the Moco toolkit. That is something that I have been looking around for though, "What tools should I be carrying around?" Not necessarily the Moco toolkit, but the useful ones to have around on the side of the road.
