Mine is a Electra Glide Classic........with Streetglide mirrors, razor windshield, and I am wanting a detach kit for my tourpak. I love the Streetglide look.

Was close on purchasing Pewter Pearl SG until I looked up the dollar figure between SG, EG and UC. Man, I said to myself...Sheeshus, What a rip-off so I opted the Ultra and plan dressing her down. After breaking her at 1,000 mile mark as my lady and I decided to leave all the comfort amenities that came on the Ultra alone. What more can I say about the Ultra ?. Nothing cuz it gave me plenty of hundreds....Errr....Thousands of reasons to smile. Hey, It'll be Ultra all the way until the day I can not ride anymore.

I've got the Street Glide, and don't think I'll ever go the Ultra route. Nothing against them, but I love the look of the stipped down bike. I added a detachable tour-pak and a better seat, but that's about the only add-ons that I'll make moving towards the Ultra. I don't see how the Ultra is so much more comfortable as they're essentially the same bike other than the seat and the lowers, and I've never felt a need for the lowers.

I believe this is why Harley came out with an Ultra Limited; which is a nod to the Streetglide popularity with Ultra amenities. I have a streetglide and one thing that I should have added up was the cost of the communications system at around $1000, Tour Pak another $800, and Lowers... Hell the Ultra is a bargain and you get extra parts to sell. Get an Ultra Limited you'll be happy.

+1... Like I've said before, I started with a Standard, morphed to an Ultra, at the cost of a SE Ultra, with the trade in/resale value of a Standard!
My next puchase will be an Ultra & take off what I decide I dont want!

For me since my wife hates bikes the SG is great....
If I was a two up rider I'd do the Ultra.
Until then I'll stick with the Glide. To me it's "sporty", fast, and still a "bagger"...
I love it.
