Great looking bikes!!! I am looking to purchase my first Harley and am very interested in one of the others...could you please either send me a meesage or post the dealer info? Is there any great riding advantage to a newer model P series?
At the $9600.00 price I'd be a buyer, but $20,000.00 for a bike that old their nuts! If you get it for under $10,000.00 nice second bike and like someone said awesome blank canvas!
Lots of folks like the cop seat, but I found it sat me too high and too close to the bars. If your wife is having trouble getting both her feet on the ground, you might consider swapping out her seat. A side benefit is that it cleans up the look of the bike considerably. I tried a Mustang solo, but it wasn't quite right for me, so I went to a Corbin, which is a keeper. It's probably at least 2 inches lower and 2 inches back from the air ride seat. Even a standard civilian seat would be down an inch or so.
Congrats!! I'm glad she "Loves" it & hope she does for years to come!....carbed or NOT! (Why do some A$$E$ have to add their .02 just to try to bring others down??)
to bad on carbed. I just got a 96 fuel injected and love it. getting about 48 mpg. starts perfect and runs great.
Are you kidding? If I were to buy an evo bike, that's the only way I'd get it. The carbureted evo bikes were the last of the Harleys that truly sounded right. The MM fuel injection is nothing like the Delphi, either.
