Are there any considerations to be taken into account when installation bike-to-bike communication, for fullface vs flip/modular ??

Fullface will have the mic glued in front of your mouth while the flip will still have a boom mic.

The larger helmets, especially the fullface tend to attenuate the exhaust and wind sound much more so than a 1/2 helmet. Sponge earplugs work great. As a mattter of fact with my ARAI Profile, J&M headset, and sponge earplugs the clarity of the stereo at 75mph is excellent. And I have old ears.

Default Full face Modular

After my ACC half helmets were recalled I went with the NOLAN Trilogy N43 N-Com Outlaw.
3 1/2 lbs. Gives me choices depending on where I am riding and the conditions. N-Com is bluetooth or wired Intercom. Unit integrates into the helmets.

I like the helmet. It is a nice fit. It takes a little getting used to as I have always ridden with the ACC Half. I do not have the N-Com fitted yet.

Default Arai

I bought the ARAI Classic during the Myrtle Beach Bike week and it had the J&M headset and speakers installed. I use the CB when talking to other bikes on our rides as either the road captain or tail gunner.

Default Fulmer Helmets

I have the Fulmer Flamethrower helmets which is there M1 Modus. Good helmet also +1 to be Seen. Noise reduction can be better but always ride with a oversize head cap that covers ears. The head cap helps on reducing noises with half and 3/4 helmets.

I have a brand new Black Graphite Nolan N-103 modular helmet with J&M integrated Bluetooth, still in the box. (Size Large.) I purchased it thru Shawn at Dr. V-Twin, who still has it, as I am currently out of the country.

If anyone would like it for $225 less than the internet price that J&M sells it for, let me (or Shawn at Dr. V-Twin) know.

The internet price from J&M is $815.

For sale, only: $590.
