Yeah I guess anything could be made to fit, I was referring to no modifications.

No a tune is not part of the deal. No dyno down hear. will have to go to anchorage
for that last one was 500 bucks when I did the 103 II was very happy with the tune
though.
I know there are some HQ 120's out there I was wanting the hear about the MOCO
120. even with the few things I forgot about I'd still be around 6 grand instlled.

If I were you I'd explore all my options. If you went to a dealer, they probably get comission out of selling screamin eagle anything. If you want performance and reliable engine, look into an s&s kit. I have the 106" cylinder kit and went with s&s everything else and she pulls hard and my mileage is very similar to stock. I also went with compression release cams and love them. My total bill was around 4500 and that included vance & hines pro pipe hi output, power commander V with the auto tuner, and LABOR! When you break into your engine, you'll want to try and take care of all possible mods at once, that way you don't have to break your engine back down. I promise you I'll hang with most bigger inch engines easily. Keep doing your homework boomer, let me know what you end up doing.

The complete SE clutch is not needed as long as your stock clutch is in good shape. The SE spring and a VPC 83 or 92 will be all you need.

Sorry, can't comment on the rest of the SE 120 kit. No experience with that.

Ok I know there are other kits out there. If you find the right vender some will cost less
but are thay that much better? I'm very happy with my 103II kit but never rode a
HQ or S&s or anyone else for that matter.
To some SE is a POS I havent had that experance. My thought is this 120 was R&D by
Jims and the MOCO got hold of it I could be wrong.
As a kit the components should be matched and work together don't you think?
I started this last night around midnight when I couldn't sleep and was going off
the top of my head.
Went to the truck and got the estimate. This is what is on it. I will not go by line item
but give you the meat.
Parts 5650.30
Labor 1260.00
other 25.00

Discount P&A 1130.00
Discount labor 252.00

Total 5568.30 with tax
price good for 30 days
I can't help but think thats a good deal

Just wondering, are they going to address the crank. It at least needs to be welded and re-trued. My dealership welded my crank, but didn't re-true and really messed up my build. This was on a 113" Balanced would be nice. VPC 92 w/ se spring will get the job done. Off-set piston oilers will be needed if they don't come with the cases. Timken bearing should be considered in left case also. I currently have a D&D fat cat-2/1
w/modified performance baffle and is working great on my HQ120".

why dont you just throw a Pro-Charger on it and be done with it.You'll get the hp/tq you want and the reliability. You can pick one up for less than $4500.When you decide to sell or trade the bike take the unit off and either sell it or adapt it to your next bike.Talk to Frank at Dragos Bike Works. His prices and knowledge of these is second to none.Just my 2 pennies

Well now your just talking crazy...

Seriously, that would be a very viable option if it was my money.

Had almost the same chat with my local Tenn. HD. They told me SE 120" kit with new cases and labor would cost about $7,500.00. So your 6 grand number crunch sounds pretty good. getting in writing sounds like a good idea!!
