Ok, this is driving me crazy. Every time I shut the bike down and restart it, the radio defaults to AM. I normally listen to the CD or iPod and it's a pain to click thru to CD etc every time.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

my cd player goes to FM sometimes

 

A significant voltage drop during start up will cause a lose of memory and default the radio to previous radio band setting.

 

Have you tried taking the fuse out and rebooting??

 

I had the same problem. Remove the disc in the player, and reinstall. See what happens. Please reply back so I can see if that was the fix. Hope this helps Jonnierock

 

I always turn the HK system off before killing the engine.

 

Mine some times defaults to Aux. I have been having some starter issues though lately and it's been a B#!(&$ TO START lately...

 

Haven't tried the fuse. I did pull the CD out and put it back in. No luck there. I think the power surge at start up might have something to do with the memory.
