Best place to sell my 2010 FLHTK?
I need to sell my 2010 FLHTK. Any suggestions on the safest and best place to sell it? I am considering using ebay, but am also looking for any suggestions for a better place. Ebay is cool as far as the bidding part goes but is there a better way?
Thanks in advance.

I'd stay away from eBay unless you understand their charges.
I read on here a couple days ago where a forum member sold his fairly new bike on Chopper Exchange if just a few hours.
http://www.chopperexchange.com/
I've never used them except for looking fo a bike but I like this site also: http://www.cycletrader.com/

I sold my '07 FLHX on Craigslist back in November. Only took a couple of weeks, and sold it for asking price. No fees required (I hate eBay), so every penny went into MY pocket.
Just be sure potential buyers have cash in hand before taking any joy rides, and only sell to a local buyer who can do the deal in person. I had the manager of my bank count and hold the buyers cash while he took the bike for a spin.

Another vote for Craig's List; I've sold three Harley's on their site and no fees. Plus, you're dealing face-to-face with the buyer; with eBay, you don't know who or what you're dealing with until the listing is over, and then there is no guarantee that the buyer has the money and is going to complete the transaction. You do get a national audience on eBay, with possibly more bids and a higher selling price, but I’ve been ripped off enough buying that I would have no interest in selling a Harley there. It’s cheap to post a listing there; the surprise comes later from the selling and PayPal fees.
With Craig’s List, you can do HTML code and post more pictures, in a far larger size, change the font style, color, size, etc. than the default ad settings, so don’t let the four small pictures throw you off giving them a try.

craigslist for me here too. i would use a second email address that you dont mind getting spammed and watch our for eroneous emails. you will learn quickly what is legit and what isnt. i am lucky enough to have an extra cell phone that i use for people to contact me on too. disconnecting from my personal space makes me feel more comfortable. i have even heard of arranging meetings to look at it at a public location so they dont have access to your house. i havent done that yet, but maybe not a bad idea.
good luck. sorry to hear you are getting rid of it. gee, maybe you have a lead on what will come with the 11's and want to ditch it quick before all ours are worthless )

Other times when I've sold musical gear on CL I always arrange to meet them somewhere OTHER than my home.
Too many crazies out there these days, period.

Try www.cycletrader.com
I've bought and sold off there before. It's is a flat fee to run your ad for a period of time.
