Cycle trader, if it's the same as Autotrader will run the ad for up to a year for the same price. You have to keep calling to renew it but there is no charge for each renewal. IIRC.
Craigslist rocks, I imagine I'll use it for my next large item, (or small)
Ebay is ok, but as mentioned above, it can be pricey with the fees. I have sold many small items on there, never a large ticket item though.

I have had good luck both buying and selling off craigslist (cars, motorcycles, RV's).
If you decide to use craigslist, here is a trick I came across. When you list your phone number use this format 1.2.3-4.5.6.7 the period between the numbers will throw off the boot programs that scan craigslist looking for phone numbers to scam. You will only get calls from people that actually saw the ad, not all the businesses that can "help you sell you stuff".
