Default Road KingTour Pak that sits behind rider

I received the 2010 road atlas and their is a picture of a Road King with the King Tour Pak sitting directly behind the rider. Can anyone help me with the following info. for a 2010 Road King. I am starting to research my next bike: -

1. Do you remove the standard pillion seat to fit it when required for solo riding?

2. Does the quick release hardware allow you to also fit the TP behind the pillion when required?

3. Does the quick release hardware allow allow a sissy bar to be used when required?

4. Is there a choice of backrests?

5. Has anyone done this conversion and if so would they have the relevant part numbers?

Many Thanks to all

Jeff

Default You do need a solo saddle for the 1 up rider

tour pak. The backrest has some different choices and all you need to do is look at the parts catalog. You can use the backrest that comes with the solo saddle or the one attached to the tour pak (depending on how far you move it up.) Not sure what you mean regarding the sissy bar. The 1 up tour pak uses the same slots as the sissy bar and the 2 up tour pak uses the carrier slots. As far as part #'s go, you'll need to check them in the parts catalog.
Hope this helps.

jeff...with the legends adjustable tourpak rack, there are no HD part numbers....you purchase the rack from legends...bolt to your bike....attach your tourpak, and voila! you do have to have a two piece two up seat, as depicted in the video.

I think that would be kinda in the way for some one getting on & off the bike like trying to do it with your rider on .
