yup what he said. i bought my bike used and got the E/W paid around 1100 and it has paid for its self and some.

 

For those of you that the extended warranty and say it has paid for itself, what did you have fixed? Did you have any add ons to the motor not done at time of bike purchase

 

I don't think a lot of people realize that they are not obligated to take the bike to a stealer for EW work. There are indys out there who are "authorized service centers" that can do the EW work. And, as in my case, if that happens to be the indy who does/did your mods, he's not going to "rat you out" on the EW like a lot of stealers will. I had an inner primary leak and a warped front rotors issue on my '07 SG which were both covered under the EW. Since I had been planning on a chrome inner primary anyway, he suggested that now would be the perfect time as all I would be out was the cost of the chrome inner primary because the EW would cover the labor since he had to remove the inner anyway to change the leaking seal. He also suggested that I go with floating rotors with the EW paying for the price of factory original rotors plus labor. So I basically got the floaters for 1/2 price installed for free. You can't beat a deal like that with a 10' club!
