That's one nice bike. Simple and elegant as in not gaudy. I had been wondering about hardbags on my classic and looked at alot. Your pic made up my mind. Like some weird sickness I cant help but look for my next mod...soft lowers ?? well that thought only lasted till I read about the hard ones and here I am again looking and...damnit !...theres that bike again !!

Couldn't believe the snap on set up was still on a $24k bike, but when I got a email for 30% off HD from AMC in Oregon, I went for it. No charge for the lock set up and doors look sharp. Gonna get me a cup set up too, coffeine with my cigar.

They open downward, and are great Quality. Pete is a stand-up guy!

I have yet to see any pictures of this gents doors - do you have any? Also, do these open from the side or top? Where are they hinged?

TIA! :-)

My apologies for wasting bandwidth - I did not see this post answering my question - thank Sefferdog! :-)

Do you have any pictures of these doors?

The HD ones that open from the top and are hinged at the bottom look bulky and stick out - the HD ones do not look clean to me, I am hoping that this guys from the CVO site look better.

I went with the HD locking doors for my Road Glide. Ordered from Zanotti's.

Too easy to break into..

I never leave anything worth keeping on my bike or in any of my vechicles.

On trips my tourpak and saddlebags are left unlocked at night so a thief can see there's nothing worth taking the easy way without tearing up my bike to find out.

I'm glad HD's still using snaps, mine work well, and it fits the retro look.
