Look here http://www.jackpotmufflers.com/. The price is right and the fit and finish are great. And yes they sound great. I've got the head pipe and slip ons, didn't like the cat in the head pipe.

If you add slip on's it will give that Harley sound you are after. there are literally hundreds if not thousands of options to choose from in all price ranges. The jackpots mentioned above get a lot of good press here. Look around and find ones that you like the look of, then go to youtube and search for them and see if you can see what they sound like. Good luck on your hunt.

I wasn't aware of it until recently but thunderheader makes slip ons. If they sound anything like a full thunderheader exhaust system, that really sound second to none IMO.

I also have the jackpot slip ons on my 2010 RKC. I changed the head pipes to the fuelmoto 2/1/2 to get rid of the cat. Very happy with both. Don't have quite the volume that my 98 fatboy had, but I'm not sure I want that much volume considering the miles I am covering now that I am touring.

I have Rineharts on my '10 Road King FLHR. $585 + tax. I like them, but they don't get throaty and bark till you lean on the throttle pretty hard. The best sound is when I'm crusin' about 50 mph in 5th gear and then get on it hard up to about 70 mph and shift into 6th. Man, they sound good then.

They are the kind of muffler that you can ride quiet or you can make noise with them.

You should also check out Wild Pigs - sound great and only about $350
