Default 103 stage 2 header pipes

I have noticed more heat on the right side since installing 103 kit.I looked at the catalog and it shows the 49 state kits have catalitic converters in the header pipes. What's the best way around it

Some have removed the cat from the headpipe. Not sure how. I went with Fuelmoto's 2-1-2 head pipe. Just waiting for it to get here.

Reuse your stock non-cat head pipe! Or buy a real exhaust system.

Default no cat for me

I did my 103 stage 2 kit over the winter. And it did include a new header pipe packed full of catalytic material. Put my old pipe on. Im sure when people get dealers to do these kits they get stuck with the cat header. When I first looked at it since I live on the can-us boarder I did look at doing it in us since kit was 300 bucks cheaper. dealers there said they could give me a credit off cost if I didnt want the cat pipe. I ended u doing the whole job myself and got about 200 off can price with special harley and some returned money from dealer in reward points to buy the next part I needed. Guess if I ever scratch up my original header I could smash out the cat stuff and use the new header some day. I did get my sert in us for about 550 instead of can price of 830. dollar is pretty well par but dealey still marking every thing up 34% on top of us price instead of the usual 10% when it was par before.

Dude... It's your property. All ya gotta do is ask for it. While you're at it, ya might wanna get the stock cylinders, pistons, & cams... After all, you paid for them.

If you don't get that stuff back, they will sell it and make $$ off YOUR stuff.
