Default Air shocks will not hold air...

I just purchased a Progressive air pump for my shocks on my '96 Ultra classic. When I attempt to put air in the shocks they do not hold air....Are the shocks shot or is there something else I should be looking at. Is this something that might be fixed?

Take soapy water and spray all your fixtures and both shocks. where you have bubbles you have leaks. It may be as simple as a leak in a line.

I would suspect leaky fitting or the plastic lines to be the problem more likely than the shocks. If I'm not mistaken, those older shocks didn't take much air pressure, like under 20 pounds. I ran my 2009 SG at 45psi to keep it from bottoming out so often, but that much pressure would blow the lines out on your bike. Maybe someone in the past put too much pressure to them.
