can stock push rods be used w/255 cams?

Good grief I can be a doof....
from iclick thread March 2010: IMO it's a waste of money, and if I had to do it again I'd just part-out what I needed, which isn't much. If you use adjustable pushrods there's even less needed, only a nosecone gasket and two o-rings for the cam plate. The pushrod kit should have the 12 tube o-rings included and you probably won't need to replace the exhaust gaskets. So, for a few $$ and another $15 for the Torrington bearings you should be ready to go. BTW in case I didn't mention it before, HD is now selling the Torrington bearings for $15 as an SE part.
Another option is the Fuel Moto install kit, and at $50 is a better deal than the HD kit, as it has all necessary parts for your bike (including rocker gaskets) as well as the Torrington bearings. The HD kit has all gaskets, o-rings, and bearings (seven in all, none of which you'll use) for Evos, early-TC, and late-TC. Lots of waste, especially your money.
No WONDER HD does not list the contents of that kit.

Already have the cam lock tool coming but at least for $63, not HD's $150! I wasted $$ on the HD cam kit also. I know I read before it was overkill but with the HD dealer here 16 miles away and not open Sunday I wanted to be "safe." Will probably go ahead and use the cam lock tool....at this point what the heck and I am a tool addict anyway.
I'm helping a friend install 255's this week and need to brush-up on all this.
