I tried a set years ago, they are crap, they sound like tin cans and totally destroyed the bottom end performance. I used them for about 50 miles and then sold them on EBAY.

I have the Original Thunder Monster Baffles in my V&H Big Radius and they are awesome. Great sound no loss in power.

Kind of like the Road Glide I guess. Those that have them love them and those that don't...

I liked them on my 2003 fatboy. Crisp, deep sound. I had them on my V&H Big Shot Longs exhaust. I've since changed out the exhaust and I still have the Big City Thunder baffles in the basement. If anyone's interested drop me a PM.

I guess that I'm kinda wondering why you put the baffles in the head pipe?

I thought that most baffles went in the tail pipe?

I had them in my Samson Big Gun Short Slasher pipes and they were awesome!! Absolutely loved them. Added A LOT the bike, sound and performance both!!

Depending on the pipe design (large diameter or curved muffler body), they sometimes require them to be in the head pipe vs the muffler body.

Well, I guess that explains it then, should have got baffles to go in the tail pipe as opposed to the head pipe.
