Looks like the rider never learned how to move his body on the bike to lessen the lean angle through the twisties.

I know full gear is "uncool" but I bet he wished he had been a little less cool and worn the gear. OUCH!!!

I enjoyed the Dragon and glad I made the trip but thought it a little too tight to really get in a groove on a cruiser (sport bike a totally different story). Prefer the roads with a little larger sweepers.

This is my backyard, for 55 yrs. I'm 20 miles from the Dragon. It is biker heaven. Great roads around here. Up Little River road, Foothills pkwy, 129, maybe Happy Vally, 335 and others are just some of the roads I use for a 30 - 50 mile winter ride. I use heated gear ( have been for 20 yrs) when I want to get out in the winter.
I got out this morning and rode the French Broad river up into seven islands, Old Sevierville pke to Brown mtn ,martin mill pke back martin mill pke, to another section of Sevierville pke then home. Probably 30 miles of bliss. What I call Electra Glide roads. It was about 70 degrees, T-shirt, jean jacket, DAMN what a ride! Just a drift around - ya know. Sorry for goin on but I just got a new '09 ULTRA ( last aug) and just can't get enough. Glad to hear ya'll like it around here.

The Cherohala Skyway is another perfect bagger road. With over 2500 feet in elev. change and long I mean long sweepers to die for. I'm very jealous of you guys that live in that area.
