Yeah, well, I got past THAT phase. Now I'd rather spend my time riding it instead of worrying about cleaning it!

No, you are not normal, contrary to what others here have told you. But, that's ok, you won't get in trouble with you mate for being in love with your motorcycle. Abnormal is ok sometimes. Embrace it! HD's are cool, and so are you.

Sounds pretty normal, you need a head doc when you find yourself spending 30 min cleaning the soot from the inside tip of your mufflers, not that I have done this or anything, just sayin.

You're looking at it all wrong. "We're" all perfectly 'normal', some more abby than others, which makes them perfect. It's those "other" people that are crazed, obsessed, fanatical, strange, or just all around weird!
