Couple quarts of oil might go well also.

new o rings for trans and motor drain plugs

New sealing washers for derby cover screws and either new O ring or gasket for derby cover

Buy 2 big Turkey pans at the grocery to catch the oil in. Put one inside the other to make it stronger. It will fit under the engine and filter at the same time. I've used the same ones for 4 years. Get some o rings.

1FLTRI4ME is saying buy a shop manual for your ride. That will tell you all you need to know about changing the oil. The manual will tell you to remove the derby to change and refill the primary fluid. Ive since been told there is no need to do that, that you can fill it via the inspection plate (if your bike has one).

Might we add...if you google the whole affair (Harley oil change), there are several tutorials on youtube.com that will guide you through the process.

Good luck.
