Default Fairing mirror holes

I'm putting Chubby 575 bars on my SG and will probably consider changing the mirrors. I'm looking to plug the holes in the inner fairing and I see that Harley makes Logo Allen Hole Plugs that are 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8". Anyone know if these will work (and if so, what size)? Harley also has new split vision fairing mirrors (92085-10). Has anyone used these to resolve the issue with hands in the way? This would probably be the way I want to go, but I hate to get the mirrors without knowing if they would help.

Thanks. If I decide not to try the split vision mirror, I might give those a try. They look nice.

Before you spend the money, go to Lowes. I got two plastic plugs and they worked perfectly on the stock painted inner. Thye are less than a dollar. If you dont like them, spend the big bucks.

there are two holes on each side. the holes are slightly larger than 1/4 and 3/8. I think they are 7/32 and 13/32.

I wasn't sure I was going to keep th efairing mounted mirrors when I put the yaffe bars on either. They are perfect with the 13" bar rise. Now, instead of staring at my fore arms in the mirrors, my hands are above the mirrors and I can see everything b/c my arms are out of the way.

I went to Lowes and used a "Plastic Fender Plug" to cover both holes at the same time.
It's designed to push in, but I used a nut on the inside of the fairing and it worked really well.

The plugs look clean, cheap, and easy. If going to get more information on the Wicked Image split mirrors. Then I'll decide. Any up to date info on those mirrors with 575 bars?

great information guys. i'm debating using the stock black mirrors off of a streetbob, and eliminating the "look at your forearms" mirrors in the fairing on my sg also.
