Default Vance & Hines true duals ?

Thinking of changing out my exhaust yet again, but would like to go true duals this time around. I know Rhineharts and Bassani make a system but have always been partial to Vance & Hines for Harley applications.

Anyone running V&H true duals? Complaints/compliments??

Thanks!

They are nice. I prefer Rineharts TD's for baggers. Exhaust is kind of like food, everyone has different tastes. A friend has their (V&H)TD's on his 08 EG and loves them. They sound nice look nice, and have great fit and finish.

I ran bigshot duals for years and loved them.

cons:
they are a bit loud
rob you of low end torque

pros:
they are a bit loud
they look great

I've had Vance and Hines True Duals for over 3 year with no complaints. I run Rush 2.5" mufflers with the the Vance and Hines and think the combine for a nice sound.

I have the V&H True Duals on my 08 EG - I tried 2 other pipes and love the sound and power of the V&H. I have them on my Softail as well.
I tried the Hard Krome, they looked great and sounded great at acceleration but the deceleration sounded like a loud sewing machine, no power increase as well.
Good luck

I have V&H duals and love the sound and as a bonus it's cooler on the right leg because you don't have that cross-over right under you thigh. On the down side my Indy said they are one of the hardest pipes to dyno tune but with my recent cam change he was able to pull 82 hp and 85 tq out of my 88" set-up using an S&S 510G.
