I was bikeless for a couple of years, and last summer, and when I told my wife I was buying another scoot, she actually forbade me to do it. I talked about it with her several times over a couple of weeks and gave her time to change her mind. She didn't, and I bought it anyway. She was pissed! She still says she hates it, but I know she doesn't really care. She even bought me a leather FXRG jacket for my birthday last year..

It'll all work out, she's just flexing her metaphorical muscles to test the water. Start ignoring her back, and don't talk to her. She'll come around in a couple of days. They can't stand it when they think that being mad at you isn't doing any good! Just enjoy this time cause it ain't gonna last. And I want you to man up and tell us when the little storm blows over. I'm taking the under on two weeks.

Wow some serious harsh advice for this poor guy...but I agree with most of you. Hopefully she'll come around in time, but if not then its her loss not yours. My wife doesn't ask me about all her purchases either (female products...hair coloring....etc) you don't see us getting all upset about that. Not to be crude or anything..but what's the better ride here???
