Default GPS- how bright is the 660 screen (can not read my 765T)

I have a nuvi 765T gps, and can not read the screen on sunny days. A bud has the 5" 1490T, and the screen was bright enough to read in bright sunlight. Before I drop more money on a gps, how bright is the zumo 660 screen? Can you easily read the map on bright sunny days?

Have you tried switching it to night? The black background is easier to see and about $500 cheaper.

I just bought a 765T and found if it's plugged in it is brighter. Mines seems to be working fine in bright sunlight. Like the fact that I can have the MP3 player playing my songs and have my phone sync'd up to it and the GPS is breaking in and telling me when to make a turn. I also have it in the AUX jack on my radio,

Do you have a cable going right from the GPS into the AUX jack? I'm thinking of doing this with a 755. If you have it into the aux will the voice prompts come through the intercom if you're listening to either the radio or CD? Thanks

I've got a 765T. Get a glarestomper and it'll help you out. Then use the night mode and no real issues for me anyway.
