So, do they make the Elite IIIs for the 2010 bikes? Has any one any long term eval on the Michellins, the dealers are selling?

Does it make a difference bias or radial? I noticed the two different types for this tire - or are they basically the same thing?

Just broke in a pair of new E-3s yesterday. Didn't ride in the rain but the tires seem really good in the dry. Tar snakes don't affect them. Steel bridges, barely noticable.
So far I like 'em.

Where can you buy the E3's for az 2009 Ultra? I contacted Jake Wilson and he says they do not carry the size I need...
130/80B17 65H

180/65B16 81H

"Unfortunately we do not carry the 180/65B16 81H to match it, nor do we carry the Elite’s in those sizes, sorry!"

When I applied the rear brake, firmly, the ABS released the rear brake as the rear tire was about to skid and then re-applied the rear brake immediately. I applied the front brake just a fraction of a second after the rear and it, along with the rear brake, brought the bike to a halt RIGHT NOW! I was very impressed with the tires in the wet as it had just started raining after a long dry spell and the oil on the road had not completely washed off. I also thought, I'll never buy a new bike without ABS.
Thanks for the report. I just had the E3’s put on my bike and got caught in a frog chocker riding home. While I did not have any sudden stops, they seemed to handle well.

You are (pardon the expression) screwed...
Dunlop is releasing the "american elite" some time soon...
