How did I end up 50 miles from home?

I will send her a text and say "be home in about and hour" when I know I'm heading my way home.
That's seems to work better than just showing up. lol

Just happen to me. Not sure what causes it.
Tuesday decided to take the bike for the 1 hr one way trip to pick some parts up for some railings I am building.
Took 2 hrs to get there, and 3 to get back. Probably would have been more then 3 if it wasn't for the rain clouds moving in fast that I had too raced home.
Within 3-4 minutes we had heavy rains and a 1/2" hail storm. Watched it all from inside my shop. When I pulled in my buddy was there washing his bike and I had 5 missed calls from him and my wife giving me a heads up on the storm. Was driving too fast too check my phone when it was vibrating.
And I thanking god for the blessings every day

Picked up my "new" 2011 Road Glide Ultra. The following weekend I was out for a 90 mile round trip to do a bike blessing. 450 miles later I pull into the driveway.. Yeah, wife says "didn't know you were going to be gone all day".. No huggie, no kissie... Every time I get on it seems like a time machine; ends up being hours and I get home to I don't know what happened - really. Wife says this afternoon "do you think we can get a day in next weekend?" Huh?
