How do the vents come off the glove boxes?

It helps a bunch. But then I already knew that having been an Ultra owner for couple years. Sure helps keep you dry in the rain too.

I don't get it.
Why pay more then a classic or ultra and then make a it look like one.
I'll admit I don't respect the whole street glide thing to begin with since it requires zero imagination and because we where doing "street glides" 20 +yrs ago before the motor company made it "official"
BUT to pay more to make it look less is just stupid to me.

As a younger gent I really like the less blingy SG over an Ultra...but I'm smart enough to like the Ultra creature comforts. I love the clean sleek lines of a SG like gliderXXX's bike. Lowers and a better seat are next on my wish list. Looks good okieblue62!!

As for the poster asking about removal, there is a nut inside of the glove boxes. Remove the nut and rubber grommet, the bolt slides out and then there are two plastic pieces in between. To take the actual vent out, what I did was take a look under there and saw that the top of the vent has a long notch across the top. The way I got it out was to push apart the "pin" that the notch slides through. You just need enough room to slide the vent out.
