Side car for the 06 street glide

RE: Side car for the 06 street glide
I added a California Sidecar to my Goldwing when my daughter was born and she first rode when she was 7 weeks old. \\; I know people will say I'm crazy for doing it, but we all had fun and she is now 19 and has her own bike. \\; \\; I had David Noe from D&\\;J Goldwing Parts in Knoxville, Tn. to attach the car to my bike and he did a great job. If the rig is set-up right, they are not that hard to drive, but if not set-up right they will always be pulling to the right or left. You have to remember that the sidecar is a drag when taking off and a push when stopping. \\; California Sidecars don't have brakes on them, so all I had to do was 4 bolts and the car was off (about 10 minutes to take off and about 15 minutes to put back on. \\; People that say you can't handle a sidecar good should have tried to keep up with me on Deals Gap. The worse thing about a sidecar is they really hurt your gas mileage, I got about 20 mpg on the wing with it. \\; If I can help you with more questions, PM me and I will give you my phone number.

i put a sidecar on my 98 electraglide and pretty much \\;hated it. you dont ride them....you drive it. \\; it was great when my daughter (5 at the time) was in it...we would do sidecar wheelies. but it definiatley needed more power. i changed the front pulley which helped a little bit but still needed more. all in all i thought it sucked!!!!
