Default Vance and Hines turndown slip-ons

Anyone running, or heard in person Vance and Hines turndown slip-ons?

http://vanceandhines.com/products/to...n-slipons.html

I ordered the blackout rounds for my 09 FLHT back in Feb. but V&H said its going to be at least another month. Thinking of going with these instead.

I know that there is an optional quiet baffle... do you you know if the qb makes them ok to use with radio?

The quiet baffle for Vance and Hines really gives the pipes a lower, deeper rumble and drops the Db rating by maybe 2 or 3 Db's. Two of my riding friends have V&H with the QB's and they sound great.

I tried 4 sets of slip ons before I got them and I love them. They are a tiny bit loud but man they sound good at any rpm. The rumble bounces off the ground.

I think they look + sound great. Are you guys running these on the stock header pipes? Or with dresser duals?
I'm thinking of going in two steps: 1) V&H turn-down slipons on the stock headers, 2) get the dresser dual header pipes (probably a 1/2 year later due to lack of $$).
Your thoughts?

I run these: http://www.vanceandhines.com/store/t.../slipons/16761 on my '09 RKC. I'm not aware of a "basic" vs. "classic" difference.

They are loud (especially when you get on the throttle). At high RPM's they are a bit "raspy" (if that makes any sense), not as deep as Rinehart (again at high RPM).

BTW, I ended up getting the V&H dresser duals and the slipons at the same time. Personally, I'm very satisfied with this setup.
