i own a 06 roadking classic, thinking of putting a set of 14in x 1.25 apes on...im 5.9 and road a sftail with the 14,s on them felt great...is there someone out there with a RK with 14,s so i can see what they would look like and tell me some pro,s and con,s if any

Mine were on the bike when I bought it. Previous owner said they were "14. I havnt measured but I think they might be "12.5. Either way I wouldn't go back(5' 10"). Afraid to go higher as Michigan law says "15 above the seat Check my albums for pics.

 

thanks...nice looking bike,dumb law because you can always lower them by pulling them back anyhow..and i think your right about the 12.5

I just put some on mine, but they're 16", 1.5" Carlini Gangster Apes. I love them. I haven't figured out a negative yet except for having to buy new cables and wire extensions.

 

First, Build your bike to a "117" then do it! That's what a friend of mine did!
