Anyone know how much weight the MOCO says the Road Glide can carry comfortably. The EG Classic and Ultra are supposed to be 474Lbs. The dealer says it should be the same, even with the shorter shock in the back but that just doesn't sound right to me.

Not only is it in the manual, but the GVWR is on a sticker on the frame.
You could probably get a little bit more on the FLTR than on the FLHTC and FLHTCU as they have the added weight of the trunk.
the information is all in your owners manual. do yourself a favor and familiarize yourself with it.
Thanks for the advice. I would do that if I owned one of those bikes and had one those owners manuals. I own a softail and I'm interested in the bikes I'm asking about.

Hey Slowrollin, real helpful bunch on this forum, huh. I've several simple questions treated like they just did to you. Rather than help a guy, they jump down their throats in an attempt to make a fool out of the answer seeker. According to my owners manual a 2010 RG. gvwr is 1360 lbs, the weight of the bike is 783 lbs the difference is 577 lbs. That's your load potential. I'm outa here, this joint sucks.
Hey Slowrollin, i just looked at my OM for a 2010 RG. the gvwr is 1360 lbs and the weight of the bike is 783 lbs if my math is right that leaves 577 lbs. hope that helps.
