Thanks for the replies..In ref to the points that is good info to have however I have my friends shop installing who only works on Vtwin harley combined they both have over 20 years Harley experiance with dealers and also mechanic is MMI and Harley Master tech certified so I am confident in what he has done. I would feel like a Big ARSS going in asking have you done this that and the other when he knows WAY more than I could ever
I don't think your mechanic will think you're a Big Arss for asking questions. Unless you're telling him how to do things. Every mechanic I know likes talking about what they're working on. That wasn't my point, to question your mechanics.
I don't think my mechanic did the nut check on mine. When I asked him if he drilled out the rear mounting hole, he just said he didn't need to it had plenty of room.
You will figure out soon enough if you want the front end lowered. Some people do, some people don't, after a 21" install.
I was just giving you a heads up on the fork oil, because I never heard about that until mine was already done.
To answer how it rode. It rode well but felt like it wanted to track in the dips in the road a little more. However the next day I did a long ride to the Mtns and upped the Air in the Suspension to 22 from the 17 it was at and it may have been in my head or actually worked but it stopped the tracking feel a whole lot more and took the bike back to the ride quality it was before. I love the new wheel and ride now and it is great
