I put the dragonfly fairing on my 04 Road King Classic. Looked great, stereo sounded great and the 6x9's looked and sounded better then round speakers. Also was able to put harley stereo controls on my stock hand controls. Worked awsome.

I bought a dragonfly....the reason for my choice is the mounting brackets...I wanted to be able to have some kind of support for the amp...and I liked the idea of the 6x9s

I'm looking at fairings for my RK and Dragonfly is at the top of the list.
Pricey, but if moneys not an object and you want the very best audio pre-installed (arc amp & focal speakers) you got to look hard at these.

I would never knock Dead Center fairings. They make a good product, and the guys who buy them love them. Having said that, if I had to buy another detachable fairing, it would be Dragonfly again, hands down. Great people, the owner of the company is a long time rider who understands the importance of building a very robust product.

Choices are good, competition in the marketplace benefits us all.

I looked at these during Sturgis in 09 and the look great, sound great and are generally very good quality. If I would give any criticism I would say that they do seem to have a bit more forward lean angle than I like compared to HD batwings or even some other aftermarket fairings like Hoppe or Woody's.

Default Batwing's

Dragonfly has a chrome attachment that lets you take your RPM gauge and mount it to your Speedo more on top of it. It looks good and lets you keep it , others do not have it ? I also do not like the front angle lean on most of these "Batwing" Is there one that does not have it? Memphis shade? The HD one is the way they should sit maybe get an HD one and do the whole dash? Must cost about the same?

The pictures that I have seen of Woody's fairings seem to have the closest angle to the stock HD fairing. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the DCC fairing was top shelf, as was the Hoppe I saw. I am actually leaning towards Woody's because: 1. the pictures I have seen look very good, 2. I have never heard anyone complain about them, 3. when I contacted Woody, he responded promptly and 4. It seems to be the best value out there, unless you are willing to take your chances with the offshore stuff on Ebay, which I'm not. I'd rather keep my money at home if possible.

Default I have had nothing but problems with dead center fairing

High speed wobble, starts at 80 and at 90 have to let off, doesn't do it with out the fairing on, I have tried reposistioning the fairing so it as close to the headlight and as close to the stock angle, and no luck, changed to a 4 inch windshield and still starts dancing at 80 mph, like a slow wobble, two up it's a lot more stable, just put new Dunlap's front and back and the wobble is worse now, taking the wheels off tomorrow as the mag rims have a bunch of weights on them both sides and the dots on the tires are not lining up with the tire stems, want to see if the tires are out of round or if there is an issue, 5 inch's of weights on each side isnt right front and back, last set of tires didn't even have any weights and the wobble was never this bad. anybody else have these high speed wobble issues?
