Default Question about 06-08 Street Glide fascia

This is for 06-08 Street Glide owners and those that have installed the SG fascia on their bikes. Do you have a slight gap between the fender and the fascia like the pic shows below. I had two Street Glides in the past and seem to recall one of them did and one didn't. When I installed the fascia on my RG it has a slight gap as you can see. There was nothing I could do about it because that is as far up as the fascia would go. The curve of the fender would not let it go up any further.

Mine has the gap as well. As a matter of fact I replaced it and the new one was more pronounced then the old one.

Yep, have it too and glad I saw this post because I used the 3M tape and thought that was why. Was thinking of drilling the holes in the fender and getting some bolts and fender washer and tighten down to see if that would help. Guess there is no use in doing that now. Still looks great on a RG with nothing back there.

Well no biggie then. I guess it is normal. Like I said I know one of my Street Glides had it.

Thanks for the input guys
