Default RJ's

RJ's works and is a sturdy product. Rj's also a stand up guy and is the owner of the company and the patent for his heatshields. Empolys and supports VETS.

Good luck.
Uh, no they don't. I bought them, brought them home and put them up against the bike and thought NFW. Cover too much of the engine chrome.

But if I lived where it was much warmer, I'm sure I'd have to do something. I've considered the engine fan too

Guess I will wait for that water cooled Hond............I mean Harley

Yep, I agree. The RJ's didn't fit either my cosmetic ideas for the SG or budget. I had the Kuryakyn "reflective-smoke" type and although they worked fine the finish was not durable and I nixed them for the HD product. Except for the PITA install on the pre-'07 models, which you described well, they are very good.
