I can tell you this. I went through a lot of seats and windshields on my 04 Road Glide until I got it right.

What I ended up with was a 10" custom tinted (bronze, they don't have that color any more) with a re curve. It was awesome. I really loved it. I'm 5' 8" tall and sat low in the saddle.

I'm now on an 07 Electra Glide Classic (I miss my road glide) and I'm using another clearview. This one is tinted dark and I think its 8".

I tried a few others and this is what I'm sticking with for now.
The Longride I got was ok but it had a few issues I wasn't 100% happy with it.

Only trouble I ever had with Clearview was the wait time. They take for ever to get but once you get it it's great.

Good Luck

Called them to ask about the lead time. They said they have the one I want in stock and can ship today. I'm going for it.

Appreciate everyone's responses.

I'm set to receive mine today. 6.5"recurve dark tint. I'm 5'8" riding a 08 street glide with a reach seat. It was in stock and will arrive within 7 days of my order. Based on the reviews I can't wait. I'll post my thoughts after I try it out.

I went with an in-stock blemm Clearview.... because I hate to wait.... and where I ride, I'll be addding to the blems....
Without them telling me where to look, I'd have never found it.... but I doubt I'd look any way.
5ft 8inches... but a 28 in inseam... I'm long in the torso, I see way over the CV +1 med grey tint w/vent. I'm not sure about the vent, but it was in stock... and i do hate to wait

I've got an 8" Clearview with re curve for an extra 2". The wind hits the top of my helmet. It really depends on your torso hieght more than your over all hieght.

for me...i like one that i have to look through...then i cut it down alittle at a time with a medium tooth bandsaw until i can just look over it...then finish with a fine tooth file and fine grit sandpaper...this seems to put the airstream about 1-2 inches over my head...keeps the buffeting off me and i can see over the windshield...

Clearviews work, I have a stock style windshield for my RK and an aftermarket fairing and I use a Clearview on both, they are both short enough to see over and both provide good wind protection and don't beat the top of your helmet.
You do have to be patient when you order one as they take quite a while to get but they are cheaper than a lot of the windshields out there with a recurve style.
