Setting-up the PCV-AT for mileage and cooling
#111
BUT, I cannot afford to change to PV.
With PC5 and Autotune, the best I gather is the Harley ECU in OPEN loop and will still add/subtract fuel based on LOAD. It's in OPEN loop because of the O2 optimizer plugs. In OPEN loop it does not use input from the OEM narrow band o2's, instead it defaults to 14.6 to 1 or something like that, but still works with all the other sensor inputs.
When the AT (autotune) is ON, you are, in a sense, in CLOSED loop, as the PC5 is live tuning the bike to the set A/F tables. So it's OVER RIDING the ECU (base map + any LOAD added/subtracted fuel!)!!!
So I am trying to get the definitive answer to this: AT on=no load added fuel, AT off=ECU can add fuel based on load....wouldn't AT OFF be better once all AT'ing is done?
