Default rear fender

Is the rear fender different on an 09 Street Glide than an 07? I know the tire is larger but are all the fender parts the same? I am looking to get rid of the rear bumper look on my Road King.

The 09 will be different (wider) than yours. Try one off a pre 09, it should fit.

I don't think you could put a 09-10 fender on a pre-09 bike, the frame is wider at the rear. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish, in taking the rear bumper off. Just take it off. Klock/RWD and others make steel fender that are "clean/longer/wider" but willstillfit within the frame rails of a pre-09 bike.

Thanks, I dont like the rear fender look on stock Road King Standards. The Street Glide set up looks nice as well as some aftermarket. Just hopeing to find something soon.

'06 or '07 should fit. I fust finished putting a 2006 street glide fender onto my 2000 Road Glide. It bolted right up no modification needed.
